Junior Amanda Cantu and Senior Kaia Philen took charge of the first game on Saturday against host team Thorndale. The game was a battle of defenses from both teams as the Lady Eagles edge off the Lady Bulldogs to win 38-33. Philen led the scoring with 15 points as Cantu followed closely behind with 14.
