Muddy Start to JH XC Season in Llano

The Salado JH XC teams participated in the Llano “Mud Run” on Sept 8.  We only had 9 boys and 7 girls participate because we have only practiced for 5 days but the kids that went to Llano went to compete! Despite being soaking wet and covered in mud, they fought hard to stay on their two feet and win.

Varsity Boys XC Win Midway Meet

The varsity boys cross country team dominated at the Waco Midway meet to win 1st place. The boys beat the 2nd place team by 63 points and won the meet championship that consisted of 17 teams. Lady Eagles Runner-up @ Midway Meet

Salado Lady Eagles 2nd at Midway CC Meet Lady Eagles competed in the Midway CC meet on Thursday, Sept. 6.  The girls competed with 22 other teams and finished 2nd with 82 pts., behind the team from San Saba, who finished with 75 pts. The Midway meet took place at HOT Soccer Complex in Waco

The Varsity Eagles took the win in 3 sets over the Cedar Creek Lady Eagles.  Reagan Thrasher led the way in set 1 serving 7 straight to win 25-16.  The Lady Eagles jumped on Cedar Creek early in set two with a 10-3 lead to win  25-18.  Set 3 was back and forth as Cedar Creek

Boys XC Finishes 2nd in Pro-Fit Meet
