The Freshmen Eagles fell to the Badgers 34-31 Tuesday night. It was a hard fought game in which the Eagles fell behind early scoring 9 points in the first half. Salado came out hot after the break and tied it up midway through the 4th. The leading scorers were Mekhi Lanier 10, AJ Fach 8, Carlos Rogers 5, Nathan Johnson 4.

The JV Eagles pulled off a 1 point victory over the Badgers 45-44.  The Eagles came out hot in the first half outscoring Lampasas 30-20. The Badgers made a run in the 3rd to pull within one point, making it  a 37-36 Eagle lead. The Eagles would hang on in the 4th winning 45-44. Leading scorers for the Eagles were Cayden Stump 12, Noah Miller 11, Josh Gilpin 10, Caleb Sirmon 7.

The Varsity  Eagles fell to Lampasas 53-59 in a physical game that came down to the wire. The Badgers came out hot and were leading the Eagles at the break 25-19. The Eagles would make a run mid way through the fourth and cut the lead to 2. Salado would have looks for the lead with under a minute but couldn’t get it to fall. Coach Mann was very proud of the defensive effort and fight the Eagles had all night. Leading scorers for the Eagles were Josh Goings 20, Peyton Miller 14, Noah Self 8, Noah Mescher 7.

The Eagles will open district play Friday Night against Lake Belton
