7th grade B team is rolling into game 4 undefeated! The Lady Eagles fought hard to come back in the first match with an ending score of 25-21. They quickly carried that energy and momentum into the second match winning 25-12. Toni Pugh was named player of the game with her aggressiveness at the net and consistent serves behind the line. The girls are continuing to work hard every day in practice and ready to finish the season strong!

The Lady Eagles 8th grade A team won a 3 set thriller over the Lampasas Lady Badgers. The Lady Eagles won the first set 25-22, lost the second set 19-25, and won the third. Lexi Rice had a string of 7 serves that would bring the Lady Eagles from being down 15-19, to up 22-19. Macy Morris finished the game off at the service line with the Lady Eagles winning 25-21. The Lady Eagles are now 3-1.  Players of the game; Lexi Rice and Macy Morris.

The Lady Eagles 8th Grade B took on Lampasas on their home court and came out with a win. In an intense 3 set game the Lady Eagles dropped their first set, won their second set, and won their third set. With 2 minutes left of the game the Lady Eagles were tied 6-6. Sydney Lange went back to serve and got the Lady Eagles up 7-6. With 40 seconds left in the game, Lange played a strategic game and served us to a win ending the game at 8-6. Players of the game are Sydney Lange  and Lily Maldonado for stepping up for their team when the pressure was on.

The 7th Grade A Team lost a tough match last night in 3 games. The Lady Eagles started slow in the first game but came back to almost take down the Lady Badgers. The second game they were firing on all cylinders and took the game 25-12. Serving was the Achilles heal of the third game. Elizabeth Markham played great defense and passed the ball well in serve receive. Karlee Konarik was named player of the game for her hustle all over the court and leadership throughout the whole match.

The Lady Eagles take on the Burnet Bulldogs in Burnet on Thursday October 15th.
