7th A: The Lady Eagles came out firing on all cylinders last night and took down the South Belton Lady Tigers 37-11. The girls played well as a team with 9 players scoring. It was a good to see the girls playing as a team and spreading out the scoring. Brooklyn Williamson was named player of the game for her hustle on defense and awesome lay-ups on offense. Scorers included Rose 5, Ihler 4, Lange 2, Morris 6, Williamson 4, Riggle 3, Sula 3, Liebig 8.


8th A: The Lady Eagles started slow, but came back in the second quarter on fire and never looked back taking down the South Belton Lady Tigers 18-12. The Lady Eagles played well as a team and played one of their best games of the season. Reese Rich was named player of the game for her defensive efforts collecting many steals and great offensive output leading all scorers with 8. Others scorers include Waters 4 and Cebreco 6.

The Lady Eagles 7th grade B team left South Belton Middle School with a victory. The Lady Eagles played great defense all night, led by Lily Maldonado and Sofia Cadenas, holding SBMS to 10 points. Jill Taylor was leading scorer for the night with 7 points and a handful of assists. Giselle Salazar and Lily Maldonado each had 4 points, Brooke Wilson with 2 points and a block, and Sofia had 3 points, with her final basket coming late in the fourth quarter to finish the game 20-10. The Lady Eagles 8th grade B team came away with a win at South Belton Middle School. The Lady Eagles made quick adjustments on offense all night and played great defense. Hayley Noske had 4 steals underneath the basket, and 5 rebounds on the night. Taylor Dabney lead the way offensively with 8 points. Ashley Ortiz, Hannah Hudson, Kirbee Webb, and Janie Rainwater each put up two points, Grace Clemons contributed with 5 points, and Allison Alcozer put up 6 points. The Lady Eagles played hard all night, making adjustments quickly and efficiently.


All teams play their last home game on Dec. 16 where we will be honoring the parents who have supported and cheered for our program all season.
