The Lady Eagle cross country teams competed very well in the Cameron Meet on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The Varsity girls team finished 2nd with 56 points. The girls competed well, despite the muddy & sloppy conditions.
The varsity was lead by Jaci McGregor who placed 2nd with a new PR of 12:15 for the season. Catalina Langlitz was 9th with a time of 13:47, Samantha Vargas was 11th 13:48, Kimberly Kendall 25th 14:44, Natalie McBryde 33th 15:03. The team was missing two runners Taylor Rich and Reginia Deen from their team today.
The JV girls did not run a full team this week due to other school activities and a few injuries.
Avery Wright placed 2nd by running a time of 15:27. Lily Lougheed placed 6th with a time of 16:18 and Rachel Jett placed 7th with a time of 16:27. All three girls ran a new personal best this week.
The Salado XC teams will run the Lampasas Meet next Friday, Oct. 6. This will give the teams a chance to preview the district course before the District Meet on Oct. 13.
